Question 1: Browser Not Displaying Properly?

We have done our very best to ensure that all aspects of farnorthjuneau.com display flawlessly in all modern browsers and operating systems.

Before contacting us please ensure that you have the latest browser installed.

If you discover that a page is not displaying properly after installing the latest browser please contact us with the pertinent information (browser version and operating system).

Enter “Display Problem” in the subject line of the contact form.

If possible, please include a screen-shot of the page in question.

PC Users: To copy/capture the current window, hold down ALT + Print Scrn at the same time. To capture the entire screen, just press Print Scrn.
Mac Users: To copy/capture any area of the screen hold down SHIFT + APPLE KEY + 4, drag-select area with mouse you wish to capture, and it will appear as a “Preview” image file on your desktop.

Question 2: Do I have to join to advertise?

Yes - farnorthjuneau.com is a membership driven web site.

Membership is free and is an easy 3 step process.

Once you sign up you will receive a user name and password, enabling you to access your own personal dashboard.
From your dashboard you can upload your banners, business icons, and edit products and services descriptions at no extra charge 24/7/365.

You can also post ads in our free classifieds section and post events in our community calendar.

As a free member you will also receive our electronic newsletter, delivered to your email box every 2 weeks.

Question 3: How do I advertise on this site?

We offer competitive business listing options and banner ads.

Simply click here or on the “Advertise” link below the Search Field at the top right corner of any page to view our rates and list your business on farnorthjuneau.com.

Question 4: How do I edit my business information?

You must be logged in to edit your business information.

When you are logged in under the user name in which you created your business listing you can edit your business information by clicking on the edit symbol/icon to the right of your business description. This will take you to the "edit my information" page of the website where you can follow the directions for changing your business information.

Alternately you can get to the edit information page from your dashboard where you can either click on the edit icon or go to “edit my business listing”

Question 5: How do I login?

Use the Login link at the top right of each page above the search field then enter your user name and password. If you do not have a user name and password use the Join for Free link at the top right of each page and follow the instructions.

Question 6: How can I become a columnist?

Question 7: What is the symbol beside my Business Listing for?

The symbol that appears next to your business listing is an edit icon that allows you to link directly to your business information on the back-end of the website.

Click on this icon and you can make any changes you want to your business listing.

This icon will not appear to anyone else using the website nor will it appear when you are not logged in.

Question 8: Why should I become a member of this site?

We want to provide uninterrupted service and a quality experience for all our varied users.
