Haines

Haines, Alaska is home of the Tlingit Indians located in the Chilkat Valley, whose mother village is Kluknan (the eternal village). Haines is named after Francina Haines of Presbyterian Home Missions Board. This incredible valley is filled with long-standing traditions and known for its incredible artists, the Chilkat Dancers and storytelling theatre, traditional totems, Eagle Preservation Reserve, National Parks and 20 million acres of protected wilderness.
