Hoonah

Hoonah, Alaska is located on Chichagof Island and is accessible by boat or plane. The village of Hoonah is the home of the Huna, Tlingit Indians who have lived in Glacier Bay and the Icy Strait since pre-historic times. Hoonah is used as a base for those visiting Glacier Bay and in search of Alaskan adventures: fishing, hunting, wildlife viewing, and sea kayaking.
